I like our new house. A new neighborhood is an excellent thing to explore, a slightly slanted perspective on a familiar landscape. The weather is perfect now, perfect, and I forgive August for it's soggy cloud of humidity hell. The little crisp in the air, the blue sky, the promise of cardigans...it all came like clockwork on September 1st. We went for a walk after getting home from work and we stopped for a sidewalk IPA, picked up mexican and Simone trotted the whole way home pointing at buses and touching graffiti. It almost felt like a real city.
I feel like I've been in a mass of red tape lately, and I'm trying to snip away at it, form by form, fee by fee, trying to manage and repair all my broken communications. I have a lot of brken communications from being a broken person. That's my theory on down days and at 3 am. Today, it feels like the universe's fault.
Homework now. Yes, I'm back on that train.
