Since that impromptu stop-by by the landlord, we have quickly realised it wasn't all that impromptu - he already had a Realtor in the wings - one who dropped by on Sunday night, and when I didn't answer the door - because I don't answer the doorbell when I am
1) home alone
2) putting my kid to bed
BROKE OUT HER KEY TO MY HOUSE AND CAME IN. I didn't know who she was, had no idea she was coming by - I flipped my lid, seriously. It was not a good start to the whole endeavour. So we go between thinking "yeah! let's buy this house!" and "well at least we get to leave here in a year!". The buying part is hard - sll costs would be about $300 more than we pay now per month. Which is fine if I get a job in a year - but unlikely. Maybe. I hate looking for a new place. I hate that people can come look at our house when they want to. I REALLY hate that part. I would like a year without
a) a move
b) a baby
c) school or trying to find a job
I know all of the above are life, but seriously.
