As an addendum to today's semi-boring entry, our landlord dropped by today and said if we weren't interested, he was looking at selling the house. He has dropped the price $36,000 in the 18 months we have lived here and now is a good time to buy, buy, buy what with the tax credit and all. But shit man, I have another year left of school, there are three library schools in the area pumping out new grads left right and center and the two major employers are frozen for hiring. I don't want to be graduating and trying to get a job and trying to sell a house all at the same time...also I'm not entirely sure I want to be HERE for some time, which is kind of pre-requisite for staying somewhere. Things are better but it's just that there are places we'd RATHER be and life is so damn short...but on the other hand, we'd like to have another kid someday, AH's benefits are so fantastical and his job so mellow and relatively well paid - these are things to hang on to in this economy. Also, I would prefer not to move again, the fourth time in 2 years. Really, really prefer not to.
