I'm currently at home waiting for H. Depot to drop off our new dryer and take the old one away. I tried to convince myself that I could totally handle a clothesline only - and then I left a drying rack outside with mats on it that I have yet to bring back inside because it rained and then I needed it to dry again and then it rained again and it is drying again and so finally we gave up and decided to "stimulate the economy" and get a new one. The salespeople were seriously overjoyed at our mid-range modest purchase, which was depressing. However, the question I have is: when they give you that 4 hour window in which they could come and deliver your goods or service your internet or WHATEVER - who in the world is the lucky person who gets their service at the beginning of that 4 hour window? Who? Because our guys without fail always show up at the last possible minute of that 4 hour window. Which drives me insane. HD has 26 minutes to get here before the end of the window. Surprise! They're carrying the old bad boy out by themselves.
