Look at me all Writey Write this week. Can't stop the blogging fever! Today I was kinda annoyed because the baby woke up beyond beyond cranky as she is suffering molary tooth pain. We could not in good conscience send such a crabby monster to daycare so I was elected to stay home with her. As a result, I missed 2 three hour classes, one 4 hour work shift and two super duper important meetings. I am already such a slackass that slackassedness that is not my fault makes me feel extra worthless, for some reason. There is a lot of bowing and scraping and making up to do, which is so much worse than just DOING you know? But we ended up having a pretty fantastic day after she was dosed with motrin and frozen banana popsicles. And just tonight, my Mother dreams came true. Simone was fresh from her bath, in fuzzy and footed pyjamas, and she came running with an Eric Carle book and proceeded to clamber into my lap and sit still and rapt as I read the book three times through. I'm not joking when I say it was one of the best mothering moments yet.
