Friday Advice

I've endured more job interviews this week, am moving again and school starts on Monday. And yet - this is not what's on my mind. Over Labour Day weekend we'll be attending a wedding in San Francisco which SOUNDS fun but here is the dilemma:

They want it to be a costume wedding.
Specifically, in some way you are to resemble a musician, a rapper something...They are in the music business, they met in music school, they want things to be fun, sure okay, I guess... But I'm wary of costumes at the best of times, let alone occasions where I just want to look pretty. Also, I am visibly bumpily pregnant. And the only pregnant pop star that comes to mind is B. Spears. No.

I don't want to be a killjoy or dishonor their (to me, odd) wishes but I draw the line at ugly clothes and wigs and feeling foolish.

Any genius ideas out there? Please?
